[其身与竹化无穷出清新] 竹清新

　　李方玉，又名李牛、牛翁，号竹屋主人，国家一级美术师、山东省美术馆专业画家，被世界文化艺术研究中心授予“世界杰出华人艺术家”荣誉称号。 　　 　　1945年生于河南省范县的李方玉，1969年毕业于山东师范大学艺术系，1974年在中国美术学院国画系深造。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国工艺美术家协会会员、山东当代花鸟画院常务院长、山东省书画研究院副院长、中国书法艺术研究院艺委委员、中华当代书画艺术研究会名誉主席、新加坡新神州艺术院高级名誉院士、曼谷中国画院名誉顾问。
　　李方玉主攻花鸟，尤擅藤竹，有“山东一枝竹”之誉。多幅作品被国内外美术机构收藏，还被国家选送至法国、美国、俄罗斯、日本、韩国、加拿大、澳大利亚等10余个国家展出并被收藏。其作品多次获国际、国家大奖，“墨竹”获“97东南亚国际现代名家水墨展”金奖；“紫藤”、“雪竹”分别获第三届、第四届“世界华人艺术香港大型艺术展”特别金奖及国际特别奖；作品“鲇鱼”在庆祝香港特别行政区成立10周年“当代中国书画名家作品展”中荣获银奖；隶书作品获全国书法篆刻大展一等奖。曾在人民美术出版社、大百科全书出版社、山东美术出版社、陕西人民美术出版社、天津杨柳青画社等出版画集、技法书及理论研究专著10余册，在专业报刊杂志发表绘画评论文章百余篇。
　　2007年，李方玉将收藏及创作的书画精品600余件捐献给家乡河南省濮阳市博物馆，当地政府聘其为濮阳市荣誉市民并建立了“李方玉艺术馆”。

　　An Appreciation of Li Fangyu’s Painting Art
　　
　　Li Fangyu, also named Li Niu and Niu Weng, styled Host of the Bamboo House, is a national grade one painter and full-time painter of Shandong Gallery. He has been granted the honorary title of “World Outstanding Chinese Artist” by the World Culture and Art Research Center.
　　Li Fangyu is mainly engaged in the flower and bird paintings. He is especially good at painting vines and bamboo and is honored as the “No. 1 Bamboo Painter in Shandong.” Many of his works have been collected by domestic and foreign galleries. He has been awarded many national and international prizes. He has published more than 10 kinds of painting collections and theories on painting techniques and has published more than 100 articles in professional journals and newspapers.
　　In 2007, Li Fangyu donated more than 600 works of calligraphy and paintings collected and created by him to the Puyang Museum in his hometown in Henan Province. The local government, therefore, granted him the title of honorary citizen and established the Li Fangyu Art Museum.
