吸血鬼文化一直根植于西方文化之中，对文学及影视产生巨大影响。

首先，吸血鬼文化最早可追溯到《圣经》中去。传说亚当和夏娃在偷吃禁果后，被上帝驱逐出伊甸园后，生下了该隐和亚伯。他们长大后，该隐成为了辛勤耕作的农夫，而亚伯则成为了牧羊人。二人向上帝献祭时，该隐的祭品是蔬菜和稻谷，而亚伯的则是羊羔一类的肉类。上帝接受了亚伯的祭品，从而使亚伯招致了了该隐的嫉妒，于是，该隐杀死了自己的弟弟。上帝明了一切，当他询问该隐，亚伯的踪迹时，该隐非但没有忏悔，反而企图掩饰自己的罪行。于是上帝惩罚该隐，以后世代都不能耕作，只能生活在黑暗中，以嗜血为生。除了这种说法，还有另一种说法，犹大为了一袋银币而出卖了耶稣并致其死亡，犹大后悔不已，于是上吊自杀，为了惩罚他，上帝将他变成了吸血鬼。

在十五世纪，欧洲现实生活就中出现了吸血鬼的化身。德·莱斯男爵,法国贵族，曾是圣女贞德的战友。战争结束后，他隐退生活，并迷恋上了炼金术，希望能够在血液中发现点金石，于是，把三百个儿童放血折磨致死。还有一位人物是弗拉德三世，即德库拉伯爵，他是瓦拉几亚公国的名族英雄，同时他也是一位嗜血的人。在开战前，他将被俘虏的两万多名士兵剥光衣服，活活穿插于木桩之上示众。斯托克的《德库拉》就是以弗拉德三世为原型创作的吸血鬼小说。在十七世纪的匈牙利，也出现了另一个吸血鬼化身，那就是巴托丽伯爵夫人，为了保持青春，她残忍的杀害了三百多名少女，并吸食她们的鲜血，甚至将血装满浴缸沐浴。此后，人们心中的吸血鬼形象大多是男的相貌英俊，体型高大，女的则妖娆美丽。这些映像往往是收到现实版吸血鬼的影响所致的。

十九世纪，吸血鬼题材小说开始风靡文学界。在19世纪，拜伦发表了《吸血鬼》小说，从此之后，吸血鬼文学开始风靡。在此之后，如柯勒律治的《克里斯塔贝尔》，济慈的《无情美人》和《拉米亚》以及在在1897年斯托克发表的吸血鬼小说《德库拉》，使得吸血鬼传说成为流传至近的现代神话。其中，由斯托克撰写的《德库拉》成为了吸血鬼的代名词，同时由于小说《德库拉》造成的轰动及影响，斯托克也成为了‘吸血鬼之父’。吸血鬼题材小说一直风靡至今。在斯托克之后，安妮莱斯成为了另一名吸血鬼题材小说中的代表作家，发表了一系列的吸血鬼题材小说，如《吸血鬼编年史》系列。

And then in twentieth century, vampire culture was spread all over the world because of the development of the modern film and television. More and more people began to know the vampire. People changed their mind from scare to love the vampire,

vampire become more and more famous among the world. As time flies, the vampire features have changed a lot. Different form the traditional vampire who is cold, lonely and merciless, nowadays vampire is more humanized.

进入20世纪，吸血鬼的文化通过影视作品有了更进一步的发展。许多影视制作人将吸血鬼搬上银屏，使得更多的人开始了解、熟知并喜爱吸血鬼。从最开始的《德库拉》小说翻拍电影《惊情四百年》，到现在的《暮光之城》系列电影及电视剧《吸血鬼日记》，越来越多的人开始关注吸血鬼并热爱上了吸血鬼影视作品。在这一系列的发展过程中，吸血鬼形象也发生了巨大的变化。现代影视中的吸血鬼不在是以往小说中冷酷，孤独，残忍的吸血鬼。现代吸血鬼形象更加人性化，越来越多的普通人吸血鬼形象出现在影视作品中。

鉴于吸血鬼文化一直流行与欧洲文化中，并且有着极为重要的影响，因此在此次论文中，我选取吸血鬼文学中经典小说《德库拉》以及现代影视以《暮光之城》和《吸血鬼日记》中为例，将其中的吸血鬼形象进行对比分析。
