　　泉城是天下的泉城,泉城里有天下。 　　济南并不是一个特大城市,不是国际化都市,不是中国一线城市,甚至在二线城市里也不是执牛耳者。但是她却以自己独有的味道,让全世界的人驻足,吸引了全世界迷恋的目光。
　　她在中国的南北之间,既有北国大气,又不失江南情调。自古以来,她就是南北的中转站,是交通要塞,为兵家必争之地。如今,她辐射环渤海经济圈,成为该都市圈的重镇,被全国寄以重任。更有京沪高铁的呼之欲出,使其交通枢纽的身份更增添了显赫的因素。
　　她深受儒家思想影响,是齐风鲁韵的交汇之处。几千年来齐鲁文化的激荡,让在这一片土地上生息的人们知书达理,颇具君子之风。济南不是圣城,但却是能够保持儒家风范的唯一的大城市。这种浓郁的人文积淀,让济南人没有冷漠的排外色彩而能与人、与邻和谐相处,成为一个让人留恋、充满人文关怀的城市。
　　而济南的千年文化传承,更让济南不是一个偏安一隅的城市。战国时期的百家争鸣、五代时期的胡化、唐宋时期的一城诗情,都让这个城市与外界不断交流、激荡、融合,进而兼容并包、多彩多姿、充满诗意。更有清朝末年的率先开埠,一时开中国开放之风气,长袍大褂的济南人和西装革履的外国人和谐相处成为独特的景致。今天,多少外国人慕名来到济南,并被这个城市所深深折服。
　　更不要说济南的这一城水了。因地势原因,汩汩而出的泉水让济南成为一座泉城,形成了流淌了几千年的泉文化。以水闻名的城市不仅是济南,有泉的城市也不是济南一家,但能够把泉水、市井、儒家文化结合在一起的城市,全世界就仅有济南了。“济南泉水甲天下”、“泉城潇洒似江南”、“一城山色半城湖”⋯⋯古往今来,赞美济南泉水的诗文不计其数。
　　但泉城没有固步自封,她仍然在前行。为了让她更好地前行,让她的天下更宽更广,让天下泉城更加独具魅力,我们策划了“天下泉城”专题,把济南放在世界视野中,把世界具有类似性质的城市拿出来,一展风范。
　　恰好,按照中共济南市委宣传部的统一部署,从本期开始,《走向世界?品味济南》更名为《走向世界?天下泉城》。自2006年5月创立时起,《走向世界?品味济南》一直按照“向世界介绍济南、向济南介绍世界”的办刊宗旨,和最亲爱的你们――我们的读者一起关注济南、解读济南、热爱济南。今后的《走向世界?天下泉城》仍然严格贯彻这一办刊宗旨,和你们一起热爱济南。

　　Spring city belongs to the world and the world is included in spring city.
　　She lies in between the northern and southern China, thus obtaining both majesty of the north and flavor of the south. Since old times, she has been the transshipment point between the north and south, traffic fortress and military strategist’s battleground. Nowadays, she radiates Bohai Economic Rim. As a city of strategic importance in the metropolitan area, she is entrusted with an important post by the whole nation. What’s more, Beijing-Shanghai express railway to be built makes her more eminent as a traffic hub .
　　She is deeply influenced by Confucianism and is the crossroad of Qilu Charm. Qilu culture of thousands of years makes people living here educated as well as reasonable and behave like gentleman. Jinan isn’t the Holy City but she is the only big city which is capable of keeping Confucianism demeanor. This rich human and historic culture keeps Jinan people away from indifferent exclusivism and in harmony with neighbors and others. It makes Jinan become a enchanted city full of human concern.
　　Because of cultural heritage of thousands of years, Jinan is reluctant to seek a moment"s peace in a corner. Contention of a hundred schools of thought during the Warring States period, Hu Hua (non-Han tendency) during Five Dynasties period and poetics in Tang and Song Dynasties made this city in constant communication, brainstorming and combination with the external world, thus making Jinan all-embracing, colorful and poetic. What’s more, the opening of Jinan to the world in late Qing Dynasty started the opening of China. Harmonious coexistence between long-haired Jinan people in unlined long gown and suited foreigners became unique scenery. Nowadays, many foreigners in admiration of Jinan"s fame come to the city and are deeply impressed.
　　Let alone water of Jinan. Because of topographical feature, bubbling spring water makes Jinan a city of springs, forming thousand year"s spring culture. Jinan isn’t the only city that is famous for springs, nor with springs. But Jinan is the only city in the world that combines spring water, marketplace and Confucian culture. Jinan spring water is the finest over the world. The spring city is as unrestrained as that in southern China, which is known as "A city embraced with pictureasque moutains and enchanted lakes". since old time, there has been endless poems praising spring water of Jinan.
