One day,a little monkey is playing by the well.

My favourite season

There are four seasons in a year. Which is my favourite one? Of course winter!

Winter is the season of festivals. The New Year's Day, Christmas Day and the

most important festival in a year for Chinese: Spring Festival is also in winter!

All the family members are back home this time. So I like it!

And sometimes will snow, I like playing after a snow! And the world turn white,

2、1.Once a fox invited a stork to dinner. He put nothing on the table except

some soup in a very shallow dish.

The fox could easily lap up the soup, but the stork could only wet the end of her

long bill in it. When she left the meal, she was still very hungry. "I am sorry,"

said the fox, "the soup is not to your taste."

"Please do not apologize," said the stork. "I hope you will come to my house,

and dine with me soon."

A few days later the fox visited the stork. He found that his food was put in a

long bottle, and the mouth of the bottle was very narrow. He could not insert

his big mouth into it, so he ate nothing.

"I will not apologize," said the stork. "One bad turn deserves another."

3、Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived:

Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One

day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all

constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

The Old Man and the Old Cat

An old man has a cat. The cat is very old, too. He runs very quickly. And his teeth are bad. One evening, the old cat sees a little mouse. He catches it, but he can?t eat it because his teeth are not strong enough. The mouse runs away.

The old man is very angry. He beats his cat. He says: “You are a fool cat. I will punish you!” the cat is very sad. He thinks：“When I was young, I worked hard for you. Now you don?t like me because I?m too old to work. You should know you are old, too.”

Spring in the Green Season

Spring is coming. Spring is the first season of the year. In China, spring comes in February. It is still cold, but it is getting warmer and warmer. The days get longer and longer. It?s very hot.. An old man is asleep on the chair. A fly comes and sits on the end of the man?s nose. The old man has a naughty monkey. He chases the fly.

The fly comes back again and sits on the old man?s nose again. The monkey chases it away again and again.

This happens five or six times. The monkey is very angry. He jumps up, runs to the garden and picks up a large stone.

When the fly sits on the old man?s nose again, the monkey hits it hard with the stone.

He kills the fly and breaks the old man?s nose.

A panda looks like a little bear. It has black and white fur. It lives only in China, so it is called the national treasure of China and protected by the law.

We all see panda on TV or in the zoo. They look stupid and walk slowly, but they are lovely and everyone likes them.

there were two high mountains between Jizhou in the south and Heyang in the north. One was

called Taihang Mountain and the other Wangwu Mountain. Both of the mountains were very

high.

Just to the north of the mountains lived an old man called Yu Gong who was nearly 90 years

old. With the two high mountains just in front of his house, his family and he had to walk a long

way around the mountains whenever they had something to do on the other side of the

mountains.

"the Bohai Sea is big enough to contain all the earth and stone," Yu Gong said.

So it was decided. His children started to dig the mountains, led by the old man Yu Gong.

A man named Zhi Sou saw them working and tried to stop them, saying, "You are so silly!

You're so old and weak that you can't even take away the grass and trees. How can you move the

high mountains?"

"You're wrong," Yu Gong said with a sigh. "Look, my sons can continue my work after my

death. When my sons die, my grandchildren will continue. So generations after generations,

there's no end. But the mountains can't grow higher. Do you still say I can’t move them away?"

Later the Heaven God, upon learning of Yu Gong’s story, was GREatly moved. He then ordered

another god to come down and take the two high mountains away.

the story tells us that so long as one is determined and sticks to it long enough, anything can

be done, no matter how difficult it is.

愚公移山的事很快被玉皇大帝知道了。玉帝被愚公坚韧不拔的精神所感动，便派大力神
